Aviators West is the only primary training provider working directly with a jet training center, Jet Aeronautical. This means you will gain key knowledge in flying high performance jet aircraft during your primary training. Students get the opportunity to observe jet type rating flights at no cost. Also, qualifying students get a free jet transition and King Air course at the end of their training.
San Diego California is ideal for flying. Our weather allows for nearly uninterrupted flying year round. However, conditions often allow for safe flight in actual instrument conditions, and most instrument students log actual instrument flight time during their training—an invaluable experience. San Diego also boasts some of the busiest airspace in the world. This means you will train in a complex environment, talking to real controllers, and dealing with real airspace.
